tuckpoint
Tuckpointing is a Masonry Repair Method, where masonry is pointed with a flush mortar joint that approximates the color of the masonry units and a mortar of contrasting color that is shaped into a thin strip.

Although many people use the terms point, repoint, and tuckpoint interchangeably, they each describe unique and separate processes.
