Dimensional Stability
dimensional stability is a relative adjective that describes how well a given finished piece of material is able to maintain it's overall dimensions through any given period of time. all materials will expand or shrink, or otherwise change from their original shape and size; the more stable a material is, the less drastic this change will be.
