An amendment to the owner/architect/[[contractor]] agreement, in such that:

1) the [[scope]] of the project has changed
1) the price of the project has changed
1) the expected time of completion has changed

or any combination of the above. Change orders need to be accepted by all parties to be considered binding and valid.
